On Easter Monday - C3 went to Martin Mere.

There was an egg rolling/throwing contest whilst we were there. Here is Brian, Andy, Lou and Tim waiting for the contest to start.

Mission Shaped Intro

There's a new six week course been published today called mission shaped intro. You can download the whole course for free, including leaders notes and evaluation forms - the lot! And why am I mentioning this? It's because the course was co-written by our very own Tony Hardy. I'm sure he'd be too modest to tell you himself :)

C3 Computing Group Starts

Last night we had nine people for our first computing group. That's a great number to start with. We had a good mix of experience too so there were enough 'experts' to share round. Ian came with his camera and took a couple of shots of us in action, which we were able to immediately upload. The computer suite we were using at Cafe Unity was great, extremely well equipped and a very pleasant place to be.

Hello

Just to let you know that I have started with the new project team at work this week. I already feel a lot less stress. Still keeping half an eye on outside opportunities, but at the moment I do feel that God is telling me this is where I am suppose to be.

It's a much smaller team size, so I feel very much part of a team again. Yeah !

Blackpool

The C3 photography group went to Blackpool on saturday to photograph donkeys, deckchairs and also the illuminations. I went along even though I don't really consider myself a photographer. It was a lovely day, really sunny and quite warm for October and we had a fabulous sunset which my photos don't do justice to.

"Web, Squint & Blog"

Lou has set up a community blog for C3 - you are reading it of course!. The idea is for all of us to contribute when we each have something to say - put on photos, links. The REAL idea is that when people find us on the net they find "people" not just ideas or news items. Our blog can be where people meet "us" rather than our church - see? So make it personal, honest, ask questions, say what you think and feel about C3, church, mission, art, community, media ....

"Web, Squint & Blog" does sound like a theme pub for young people but in fact it will be our website (information), our newsletter (our newsletter!) and our Blog - (musing and ravings of a young Christian creative community).
